what effect is used in these gifs? it looks like the high pass effect, but that's not what they used.

1) per our posting guidelines, animated graphics must be under a lj-cut.

2) you need to be more specific...what 'effect'?

First off are you using PS?
If so I think what they did was import the video and where it says "limit to every Frames" they must have entered 3 or 4 frames. It makes the video a little faster.
