Imageready won't open?? -- Fixed

Nov 08, 2010 21:04

I haven't used it since I switched computers, but I remember my old vs of Photoshop (that came w/Imageready) worked fine on my new computer. (I've upgraded to CS3 & CS4 since then.) I don't remember uninstalling, all the program files are still in the folder, but when I try to open it I get this error:

And when I try to open my old version of Photoshop, it's asking me if I want to edit something in my registry.
How do I fix it?  I'm getting nervous I somehow lost the program...
EDIT ~ Okay so I reinstalled my old version of Photoshop (which came w/Imageready) and made sure my register went through w/serial number.  It opened and loaded fine, but Imageready is STILL giving me that error.  I don't get it.  Imageready doesn't have a different serial/registry, does it?

EDIT AGAIN ~ Wanted to include the fix I did, just in case someone else has the same problem:  After much Google'ing, I found out that if you start the program up and immediately hit Ctrl + Alt + Shift at the same time (it took about 10 tries to do it right!), then it will ask if you want to reset Imageready's preferences.  Click yes and voila!  It opens up correctly and the jump to Photoshop and back works as well.

program error: imageready
