So, I use Photoshop 7.0, and I was working on an icon, as I often do. I click on a layer, and attempt to move the texture to a different area, but it jumped to a totally different layer and I ended up moving that one.

At first, it jumped to the same layer over and over, so I deleted it, and tested it out. Instead, it just jumped to different layer, and frustrated me even further.

Any idea what the issue is? This was the best I could explain it; I could try capturing a helpful screenshot, if needed.
