Hello all. I'm sorry to ask such a common question, but I've been trying to get my font to have an outline like this icon made bysweetphaex

I've done this for other things but not text. It might work better for you/different sizes but I'm not altogether sure, this could just be something else? I use PSP9 btw



convert your text to a raster layer

go to selections -> select all (ctrl+A)

then selections -> modify -> select similar



which makes it like this



then selections -> modify -> expand

then however many pixels you want it by (2 might be good? too much more is too much. depending on size 2 might be too much)



then fill with a colour



you'll have to go around some individual pixels tho but it does the majority for you :)
