Introduce Yourself
Name on your nametag: Lisa
And where do you live?: Los Angeles, CA
Answer to your age: 26, yet I've been told I look and act younger.

Share Some Interests
I'm currently really into: reading (currently re-reading a series by Rob Thurman that Supernatural fans might like), binge watching random shows/stuff on Netflix - mainly stuff I've never watched before, waiting for Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow, and SHIELD to come back on TV, getting excited for new TV shows even though I know I might not be able to watch because of work, doing my nails, baking (it's getting into the holidays, almost, and that's my baking season) and procrastinating!

Initiate Follow-Up Conversation
Ask a question (or three!) here (just in case the conversation has fallen into a lull):
1. Is there anything you collect, if so what and why?
2. What's your favorite scent?
3. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Recommend me something based on the following:Books in the urban fantasy genre ( ... )

I love Supernatural and I am waiting for that as well :D

Anyway, answers to your questions:

1. It might sound a bit strange but I press most of my flowers and keep the dried flowers as a reminder of mementos, like my first boyfriend giving me flowers, or my second boyfriend actually getting the flowers I love and I keep the dried flowers in a small wooden box that I got myself at a second hand store.

2. My favorite scent would be my favorite perfume, "Beautiful," by Estee Lauder.

3. My biggest pet peeve is when a guy doesn't understand that if I feel uncomfortable and that I don't want to dance too closely (or something along those lines) than he really shouldn't touch me. (essentially when guys (like my exes) don't listen to what I am saying and continue to make me feel uncomfortable >.<)

It was nice meeting you! (And who doesn't love to procrastinate ;)]

I've always liked pressed flowers, even though I don't do it myself. I love flowers but I can't be near them because I have allergies.

I hate when people, not just guys, are pushy.

It was nice meeting you too! :D

I used to collect movie tickets, but then I moved to Australia where they require your first born child as payment for seeing a movie and also give out these flimsy movie tickets printed with ink that disappears after a week or so. WORST.

I also collect polished stones and marbles for no reason. Or...maybe there is a reason, but I am not really sure what it is? They're pretty???

I'm American! From West Virginia and then North Carolina. And, at least when I was living there, we had movie tickets that were a bit more like train tickets here. A little more durable and the ink lasted as well so they were worth keeping around for nostalgia's sake. So I can look at my movie ticket for Treasure Planet and reminiscence about going to see it because I'm a loser.

Polished stones and marbles are pretty, I also used to collected seashells when I was younger :D

[Seriously, didn't know that movie costs a lot in Australia -.-]

The ink disappers?! That sucks. I used to collect movie tickets when I was younger and actually saw movies more, I just don't remember where I put them - I kept them in like a photo album/scrapbook.

They're shiny! That's why. ;)

I was lucky enough to be surveyed by phone the other evening, and the caller originally asked if she could speak to an adult in the house. She apologised a lot when she found out how old I was, lol, so I totally get where you are coming from here.

SLEEPY HOLLOW! SHIELD! I am excited for these to return as well!

1. I collected Post Cards on a recent trip to England, though that was a special occasion thing rather than an all the time thing. That being said, I do collect coins from different currencies when I have the chance.
2. Vanilla usually wins me over. Just the smell of something baking though is always pleasant.
3. Incompetence. Like, when someone is in charge of organising something and they just can't do it well, it annoys me.

Dancing!Groot. Greatest cinematic scene of 2014!

HAHA! That's awesome. I wish I had that kind of voice on the phone, whenever I answer the phone I have a 'phone voice' and I sound more adult. My family gets confused and always think I'm my Mom. Oops!

I've been waiting patiently for shows to return, now that it's getting closer I'm getting more impatient.

That's pretty cool. I wish I traveled so that I could collect post cards, that'd be such a great memento from a place. I love the smell of something baking too, though the real smell and not those artificial ones - it smells too strong. That last one, yes, that's me at work. People try to organize things and I get so fed up that I often go back and redo it.

Slow. Drivers. Yes! I live in Los Angeles and I get so annoyed at them. That and bad drivers, though I think that annoys everyone. :P

I am so ready for season 2 of SHIELD! I can't wait!

I collect postcards (though I haven't expanded in a while), especially ones that people have written on, movie tickets, I have about 80 now I think? I like to keep them as they help me remember when I saw it and Hello Kitty anything! I've loved HK and Sanrio since I was 4 and now that it's everywhere I can enjoy it again. It really just makes me happy. :D

Dancing baby Groot is the best thing of this year!

Almost. I just hope I don't have to work a closing shift that night. I'm excited for Agent Carter too. :)

WOW! 80 movie tickets? That's amazing. It seems that Hello Kitty has gotten more popular lately (well, compared to when I was little) - like it seems acceptable for adults to like it, if that makes sense. Like handbags and stuff.

Yes. When I saw that at the end of the movie I aww-ed out loud.

I've been collecting the tickets since 2006 so yeah. I'd have even more if I wasn't broke half the time xD lol

Oh yeah I don't care if people think it's childish or whatever, it makes me happy and I'm not gonna feel guilty about it. ;3
