Introduce Yourself
Name on your nametag: Bob Frank (aka Jess)
And where do you live?: Australia, country of two seasons (freaking hot and slightly cool).
Answer to your age: Actually 27. Though I'm a perpetual child at heart.

Share Some Interests
I'm currently really into: screencapping, Greek, Fringe, Bones, Michael & Maria (my otp of otps), the fact that Michael (from Roswell) married Rebecca (from Greek) on Bones, and how awesome it would be if Michael & Rebecca actually did get married, The Long Earth series, the fact that American Gods is actually going to be made into a TV series, and knowing that it's Spring and I actually began spring-cleaning this week.

Initiate Follow-Up Conversation
Ask a question (or three!) here (just in case the conversation has fallen into a lull):
1. What song is stuck on reply on your music playing device?
2. If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
3. What would you name the autobiography of your life?

Recommend me something based on the following:Science Fiction/Fantasy + ( ... )

I wish I could be all fangirl about Bones but I haven't been watching that as much as I used to. I am watching Roswell on Netflix though, which I didn't watch when it first aired - I'm slowly getting obsessed with it. I'm halfway through the first season. :D

1. Counting Stars by OneRepublic has been getting constant play on my iPod.
2. Buffy. Aside from the dying it's Buffy!
3. Shit is Getting Drastic

Roswell is just about to get good for you! The end of S1 & all of Season 2 is my favourite. I'm not a huge fan of Season 3, but it's still tolerable. Its so old now though, and kinda ridiculous when I think about it, but still a lot of fun at the same time. Who are your favourite characters?

I am possibly going to get destroyed for saying this, but I've actually never watched the Buffy series. Still, I know from just knowing what it's about that she's the original kick-ass female heroine so I totally get the choice there!

I'm not sure why I didn't watch it when it was originally on. Maybe my friends didn't watch it so I didn't, IDK. I'm liking Michael and Maria a lot, not a big fan of Liz.

:O! You should definitely watch it and Angel too.

I only discovered it this year, because I saw some of one episode when the first season aired and it seemed a bit Supernatural to me, so I avoided it like the plague because I am a big old scardy cat, but then my sister had the DVDs and I had time so yeah. It was such an interesting show though, and I enjoy watching it partially because of how pretty it is!

I definitely would read your biography if that was the title. I feel it would speak to me on multiple levels.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

DID YOU FINISH IT? DID WE TALK ABOUT THIS? I DON'T REMEMBER US TALKING ABOUT THIS. WE DEFINITELY NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS.

I DID! Like, months ago now. It was SO MUCH FUN though. But also depressing, but in a not bad way. I am not sure I know what other feelings I felt, except girls kicking ass is always so wonderful to see.

I remember reccing it, and I think I remember you saying you'd started, but then it didn't come up again? Or maybe that was Princess Tutu. I can't recall. BUT I AM SO GLAD YOU FINISHED IT AND ALSO THAT YOU LIKED IT. Fun but also depressing is exactly how I would describe it as well. Said description has put my sister off watching it completely, alas. But, yeah, super great show! :D

I definitely remember starting Princess Tutu, but actually couldn't get through it. I think maybe I tried to watch it at the wrong time. BUT I definitely loved this, and should probably rewatch at some stage. You should convince your sister to watch based on the shortness of it, and because the ending is more hopeful than anything else. And hope is better than anything else!

Newcastle, or as the locals call it, 'Newy'. A place that I both love and loathe equally. I see you are from Melbourne though, which is probably my dream place to live. I was down there recently for a practical subject for my Uni degree, and visited all the amazing libraries in and around Melbourne, which was great. And the new one that was opening in the Docklands was described to me, and it became my dream library/place of employment, lol.

Oh I hear Newcastle is beautiful, I was initially thinking of doing uni there! Melbourne is alright if you enjoy shitty public transport, how this place got world's most liveable city several years in a row makes me very concerned about the state of every other city in the world haha
I haven't seen the Dockland's library, I live in a suburb with 2 universities and a public library at the end of my street so I never have to go that far if I need a book.

It's beautiful, but full of bogans, hipsters & bogan hipsters. And the Uni is in a swamp, so it's full of mozzies, lol! Though I do love it, and the Uni courses are actually really good, so they make up for the mozzies. Though if you think Melb has crap public transport, don't come here. It freaking sucks.
