Hi fellow icon makers, it's 4 four months into 2013, and so I thought I would do a sort of progress meme things as we had one similar last year plus it would be nice to get some conversation going in this comm. So explain your favourite icons & techniques you have made, managed and loved also your worse and your areas for improvement

What are your 5-10 personal favourite icons you have made so far in 2013?

It's funny how you've classed that Sookie icon in your least faves because I think I've it saved to my inspirational folder. I like it's simplicity and lighting and, on my monitor at least, it's perfectly sharpened.
I have to agree with you about text though, all the icon with it in your faves batch are stunning, stunning stunning.

Oh, please do not stay away from text. What you have done, specially on 1,3&9, is gorgeous. So keep on that because text is looove ♥

I'm also not quite sure why you dislike #5 of the second list, it has such rich and pretty colours imo. (so is 4, although i do see it a bit oversharpened on her hair on the bottom left, the lighting is gorgeouus and the colours are pretty).
