Your text icons are always gorgeous and I love how daring you are with colour.
I don't know who these guys are but this icon of yours has to be my fav, the colours and text spot on.

That's Bo Burnham. He's an american comedian and I am obsessed with him and know all his songs by heart and I am not even a native speaker :D *ok fanboying out*

seriously I really like a bit unnatural/unusual colorings like this. And the pinkish skin fits so great with the purples. Idk, I just don't see anything wrong with it, quite the contrary!

I think I ate a bit of salmon yesterday in a spinach lasagna and I didn't like the fish. No more salmon icons. It's offical now!

I know you like unusual combination but you are actually good at it! You're crazy, you know that? :D

...You're the one who's crazy if you think even my best icons/color combos are anywhere near as good as your worst, haha! :D

I love the way you work with colour. Your icons are always so balanced and eye-catching.
Also despite what you say about simple icons with simple crops, I think you still manage to add something extra to them. 3, 6 and 8 of your faves are, in theory, 'simple icons with simple crops' but your coloring and texture use (in 3 and 8) has added complexity to them and made them into something truly special.
