Results for Round Ten; Week Five; Icon Pairs.
Our winner is chopstickicons (Icon Two) by a vote of 9 to 5. Congrats!
From Judge misc : Icon pairs to me, have always been something that while the icons work together, they don't need the other one to stand alone. The first set absolutely need the other one, and cuts off randomly. You have to think about the fact that icons are used one icon, you can't upload something that's 200 x 100. Try to Anti-aliased your text too. "Form afar" doesn't look like it.
From Judge smugglers_prize : The images looked too grainy, and the coloring is unflattering. Also the text work, the from afar looks too jagged.
From Judge whiteplums : The font is too pixelated and the Harry icons is not as clear as the Hermione one, but I really like how the icons work well with each other.
From Judge misc : I love the sense of contrast. They also stand alone great!
From Judge threeleaf : It's pretty simple but it looks good. The match of the colours in both icons is really good.
From Judge smugglers_prize : The slight blur gives it an almost ethereal vibe, and I love the color work. They definitely go together well.
From Judge whiteplums : While I like the effect on the icons, I felt that this entry was a bit too 'safe.' Nothing really grabs my attention. Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with the characters/series, but it does not feel like an icon "pair."
