Using Replace Color to Fix LQ Bases

I make a lot of icons using screencaps, and often, the caps aren't the highest quality. Screencaps are also often dark and blurry, and when I try to lighten them, I end up getting funky patches of color. That's great. It doesn't really work for dark or blue caps, but it's pretty good. I even used it to play around with some colours on icons.

Ahh, I never tried it on those. For overwhelmingly blue or greenish caps (I got a lot of those when doing Veronica Mars icons... damned flashbacks) I usually use variations instead. This is more for weird patches of color I get sometimes with LQ caps.

Glad you found the technique helpful, though.

Thanks so much! I made some Da Vinci Code caps and this really helped the base I tried this on come out much better :)
