The first actual school update

So I figure there are probably at least one or two of you out there who might actually still read this thing and be curious about what goes on in my life...

It took a while to get my fall schedule figured out, but by a week and a half into classes most of the problems were figured out. I have 4-6 hours of class a day, more when I have crew hours, which start next week. I'm taking:
Calculus in 3D
Physics III: Modern Physics (ie special relativity and quantum, and I think we touch on general relativity)
Physics Analysis
Physics Undergraduate Colloquium I (ie eat cookies and don't fall asleep)
Foundations of Drama I
Stagecraft
Sophmore Crew

On top of that I'm assistant assistant captain of the ultimate frisbee team and I still might need to do an independent study in Basic Design.

Needless to say, I've been pretty busy. However, the work load has been completely managable and I'm very happy. The balance I didn't feel last year, I almost completely have this year. Physics in the morning, drama in the afternoon, athletics in the evening, and crew work at night. While I sometimes find myself asking "why am I doing so much?" I'm really happy with the way this semester is going. I was worried about not really being accepted into drama since I'm BSA and I switched in late, but I feel like I belong there. I walk around the building and I feel accepted and I feel GOOD to know that it's mine. And of course I still fit in with Physics. I'm also starting to feel less stupid in physics as I discover that most of my friends also feel like they're the stupidest ones in the major.

Questions? Comments? Requests that I shut up? Leave me a message.
