TO CHANGE OR NOT TO CHANGE
SO, I just found out that the person who hogged up my usual preferred username has had their account purged, which means that I AM NOW FREE TO RENAME THIS BLOG TO MY PREFERRED USERNAME. . . . for $15.
So, on the one hand, I currently REALLY HATE the username for this blog (it's really feminine) and I really love this journal (it's got nostalgic value for me and LiveJournal never soured on me the way it did for everyone else and I still don't really understand why).
So (sorry for punctuating every paragraph with "so") I can have my usual username (actually still kind of feminine but slightly less so and it's practically a second name at this point) for fifteen bucks. . .
I have to say I've paid more for things I wanted less before, but. Like, I'm the only person who even still uses LiveJournal probably, so seriously, is it worth it?
I don't know. . . For now I'm doing my usual decision in these kinds of situations and I'm forcing myself to Not Buy. But my real decision is I kind of want to. I guess I'll leave it to later and see if I still want it so badly once I'm used to the idea. Also paranoidly not writing out the username here in case some other horrible person steals it from me again, somehow.
