Great to hear from you again! I feel like I'm drifting further from the Hetalia fandom. I amassed a small collection of Hetalia stuff and I guess that once I got my hands on Arte Stella, it felt like my mission was nearly complete. But I really do miss the early days of fandom where there was a substantial amount of historical research. Even though I'm barely hanging around the fandom, I am helping out a Hetalia fangame project by doing costume research. ^^D

But I know that I will come back to Hetalia even though I might be away for a long time (I must know the conclusion of the HRE=Germany theory). After using LJ for at least 10 years, it's kinda hard not to come back to it. I like the fact that it's more low-key than, say, tumblr, twitter or fb (which is overrated, imo).

Right now, I'm stuck reading medical journals and urgh, I can't wait till school is over. I still wonder how I ever managed to get papers done.

Hey! Ditto to you! That's kind of sad to hear, but not too surprising; Hetalia fandom has been shrinking since 2011 and hasn't stopped, and most Hetalia people I know won't even discuss it with me anymore. (What's Arte Stella? xD;; ) I dearly miss the footnote-fic days, but really in hindsight, it was such a miracle it ever happened at all. ^^; Good on you for something so cool! Do you got a link to that project or are you guys not public yet? :O That sounds pretty interesting! Is it Americana Dawn? I love that fangame!

Yaaaaay, it's good to know someone else is willing to stick it out. ^_^ *huuug* I know fandom can be scary, but people don't have to start avoiding Hetalia like they're embarrassed to be seen with it, I mean, come on. The canon is still amazing, and only gets better (Himaruya's art has improved so much in two years ;A; )! And you're right, Facebook is totally overrated; it really shouldn't be used for this kind of thing anyway, since it's really more a place for IRL people to catch up with each other. Hardly an ideal
