My gosh, the Terracotta warriors had such fancy hairstyles. It is so ridiculous! They are so elaborate and beautiful they'd put most girly modern ones to shame! And this is like two thousand years before the invention of hairspray!

LOOK AT THAT HAIR!! THAT IS SOME VERY FANCY HAIR!

Wow, that's pretty! I'm impressed they could get the top part to stay up.

I love looking at TV shows set in the past, or in fantasy-land, for the hairstyles. Because there was a long time when girls wore their hair as long as I do, and nowadays it's rarer so people don't tend to work out styles for it. xD;; There's a show my parents and I watch, Game of Thrones (which is based on a really good but really dark series that I'm also reading...) which is really good for that. I had a hard time finding a picture to show you, since mostly the hairstyles look cool from the back and pictures are usually from the front, but here's one example of what I'm talking about: http://buzzpop.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Game-of-Thrones-Episode-7-ned-stark-cersei-lannister.jpg

I want to learn to do THAT with my hair. (The terracotta warrior's style would be cool ... except that I'd look dorky with the topknot.

Oh yeah, that looks really cute too (fahaha... Reminds me of Germania's hairstyle! ^^

Man I actually checked and my hair is just barely long enough to do a terracotta hairstyle, but I can bArely even do a simple single braid by myself. Now way can I achieve anything like that. @_@ You cant't really see the back from here, but they average about three or four braids (one on each side of the head and either one or two in the bottom) which then converge into one thin braid (I guess they tie somewhere??) that wraps around the bun that all the other hair is knotting itself into. THAT IS INSANE. @_@!!!
