A Different Kind of Test One college takes "sound mind, sound body" to a new level, requiring students to lose weight or take a fitness class to graduate.
The most messed up thing about all of this is that from what I gauge from the article, the only people who are required to take this "fitness" and "nutrition" class are folks who have BMIs of 30 and above. That is complete and blatant bullshit discrimination. If this university really cared about their students being "healthy" they would require every student in their school to take a nutrition and fitness class. The way they are going about this is incredibly fatphobic, stigmatizing, and ignorant. I'm all about empowering people to feel good and strong in their own bodies but not this way.
