Home never felt so good

We've been home for two weeks, and it's beginning to feel like we never left. I've been jobhunting (so far without luck) almost everyday, and when I'm not jobhunting, I'm reading. I read The Cider House Rules in 2 days...I think I need a life...

At the moment we're living with Paul's parents. Not an ideal arrangement, but so far, it's working out okay. I haven't been asked to get the hell out of their house and never come back, I haven't pissed them off beyond all forgiveness, and I think they like having me around for Tanya to be a "good" influence on her. Good influence...yes...that's it...

There hasn't really been a huge amount happening, we've been out for drinks with the usual suspects twice, we've gone for drives, visited my parents in their respective new abodes, and can't really do a huge amount until we have jobs and a place of our own.

Everyone's been lovely since we came back. There's been no "We told you so" or "You should've stayed here all along". All we've heard is people saying that they're glad we're back. Thanks everyone.

All updates in good time.
