1. i applied to be a library aide at the south pasadena library.
2. i played a wedding gig in santa monica at blythe danner's house, gwyneth paltrow's mommy. she complimented our band and told us she was very happy to have us!
3. i drove a million miles to play a blue-grass gig in laguna beach for some unitarian church.
4. i locked my keys in my car on the way there...and expertly broke into it with the use of a trusty clothes hanger.
5. i witnessed 3 eighty-something-year-old brothers dancing like maniacs to traditional blue-grass.
(i hope i get the job...i'm so nervous about it. it's the first time i've applied to anything that i really really have my heart set on.)
