we happened to arrive in korea at the very beginning of monsoon season. they say it was sunny just a few days ago. now it's so humid- even a shower seems pointless. and the skeeters have made a sweet little snack of me. the soldier boys are very cordial to us, and not creepy er slobbery at all. i'm currently in my own private hotel room in Kunsan, a 4 hour bus-ride from the Incheon airport.
the man who is supposedly our tour manager, goes by the name of "Rug." he lookes rather rugged if you ask me. our guitar player even caught him looking up S&M on his laptop during our bus ride. nonetheless, he's very polite.
i've had nothing but airplane food so far, and a ham and cheese sandwich that i forced myself to eat (i don't eat pork) because that's all that was available. so gross. but i haven't complained once. cus tonight we get Korean BBQ (and the possible hunt for Soju, thanks to some friendly encouragement)!
all in all, it's quite yucky here, but i'm making the best of it. calling cards are my saving grace right now...and i think our performances for the next 2 days will be a big hit with the army-folk.
miss you. love you.
(you know who you are.)
