lastnite:
the band leader asked me what my availability is...which, to me, means that there's a strong possibility that i'll be asked to play again...($$$)
and some woman asked me if i wanted to join her "group chick" called "Mariachi Divas"......which just wreaks of estrogen.....blech!
nothing against the stuff. i just happen to like the idea of not becoming known as the "girl band" type. there's just no sense in pinholing myself. and often...girls who play mostly in girls bands, get known for doing so. for me, i'd rather just be known for just being a good player.
anyways.........in the name of daddy's day, there's a coupla great ones on this here LJ planet that deserve a little recognition:
SCYTHROP - Happy William's Daddy's Day! (he's soooooooo handsome i want to EAT him!)
SK_2 - Happy Doggie Daddy's Day! (Haley and Chloe are very lucky puppies! can i eat them too?)
