The sun is shining, I've voted for the first time, been to see the midwife, eaten fried chicken and got a class excuse to bunk college this morning (but not in that order).
The midwife couldn't find my veins (not cut out for smack abuse, unfortunately...I'll have to just stick with the rock-smoking if I ever want to become a dirty addict in later life, I guess) so she's referred me down to Phlebotomy @ the hospital to get them to do it. And - oh no - she wants me to go today. Instead of going to college & explaining why I failed my law test (seriously, I'm in line for my first E) and making arrangements to collect work to take on holiday with me (like I'm gonna take work on holiday with me), I get to spend an hour down the hospital and then go shoe shopping.
It's such a trial being pregnant, honestly it is ;) Sitting on a bench eating fried chicken @ 11:30am without an ounce of shame, free stuff from the midwife, everyone being nice to you. Bloody awful, really.
