james and i have just had the first weekend off together since november....child and family free....
Friday:
went to hul spent lots of money had a wander round...got a very nice bite to eat at the incredibly cheap oyster catcher pub then wait for it....we went to the theatre! how sophisticated are we! went to see a comedy called i want that hair at the hull truck...very funny observational comedy about women's bitterness about getting fat and forty...
Saturday:
watched 24....spent a few hours looking around town for a coffee table...fouund a strange little shop where quality furniture was being sold suspiciously cheap so got a solid wooden table for twenty quid....spent a couple of hours putting it together....we now have a rather nice table in our rather nice front room....
made my first ever cottage/shepards pie (what is the difference between the two) and watched more 24....we are just over halfway through season three it's absolutely the best tv i have seen in years...never seen the first two series but i'm hooked....
Sunday:
watched more 24.....then painted the entire bedroom blue...it's very dark but doesn't look too bad now we have moved some stuff around...the curtains have to go asap tho they were probably second hand in the fifties whick makes them bout sixty years old...one word minging!
then we painted the bathroom a lovely warm terracotta colour...much nicer and spent fro around five til eleven pm watching more 24...only three epidodes to go i'm so excited!
Monday:
James is back at work and i have a major assesment to do on psychology of learning JOY! Jmaes is running the quiz tonight so get down to the turks for half eight ish if anyone can make it...John if you want a lift drop me a text i can do that for you!
