Day 06 - A song that reminds of you of somewhere
Generally said, there are albums that remind me of being somewhere. The Knife will always be all about Berlin, The Faint and Chromeo all about London.
Then there are bands and albums that remind me of seasons. Kent are all about winter, for example.
But then there is this song. I keep forgetting about it and then it comes back to me.
"Still in love song" reminds me of sitting on top of a London double decker bus, taking the "scenic" bus route from London Bridge to either Tottenham Campus (When it still existed), or even Trent Wood Campus of Middlesex University. What it reminds me of in particular is going through all these residential streets near Tottenham. It reminds me of the cinema.
Shame there are only live versions. It makes me wanna jump around and dance. makes me wanna drop my shopping and flip! That sort of song.
