It struck me what strokes of fate friendships are...
If I had made just one different choice in my life, the people in my life would probably be different also...
It makes me think...
If I had not chosen St Nicks or for that matter, chosen to take up MEP(which was sorta a random whim at that point of time) would I still have met Sabby and become best friends?
If I had not been pre-assigned the classes which I had during my first school term, would my group of friends differ significantly? Would I even have known Kelvin? Or Xiu Ling? etc...
If my exams had just ended one week later or if I had decided to delay working one week later last year, would I still have met Hsiu Yuan?
It just amazes me how miraculous and deliberate yet coincidental friendships are...
It seems that so much effort has to be put in on both parties' part before they can even meet...
It just makes my friends seem all the more precious...
Or should I say invaluable and irreplaceable, even in this world of constant change...
