stuck in the tests

so now that i've had my endoscopy and my colonoscopy with biopsies and nothing turned up, i suppose i have to go back in a few month to have a motility test. what that is, i'm not exactly sure. something about a tube in your throat for at least four hours. but hey, its not cancer. i got up today at five am to drive from the midwest to the midatlantic. thrilling. in order that i can wake up tomorrow a little before seven am to go take praxis. which while it should not be hard, will be because i'm so distractable lately, and have i even looked at math in years? no. i'm a latin major, what do i need with math. my friends come to me to do their taxes, now tell me, why should i remember these forumlas for who knows what. ahh the world of standerized test. oh i suppose i should mention that i was called a terrorist by the head of the us dept of education. yes, thats right. well, me and a couple other thousand teachers, or wannabe teachers. that makes me feel good about myself you know. going into a job where the guy at the top of the food chain looks down and all he sees are these evil people who want the government to not do what they are doing. well that is true i suppose but thats really only because the people making the laws don't know anything about teaching. i'm off to go console matt for sucking at some x box game, and to attempt to do something productive, like look at my praxis book or do homework. ugh, what a great spring break. i wish i lived with two crazy old men and got a lion for a pet.
