EW: HP Article--Rowling Almost Killed Off Ron
I didn't see this article until today, so I thought I would share it just in case anyone else is interested.
Apparently, on the new special features of Deathly Hallows Part 2, Ms Rowling claims that she was considering killing off Ron around the middle of the series. There's a pretty heated debate about this on the article forum, but I was just wondering what everyone else thinks? Personally, I'm not the biggest Ron fan. I find him to be a bit whiny and annoying, especially in the last book, but at the same time, if Ron would've died I just can't see Harry recovering and having the strength to finish Voldemort. I'm glad J.K. changed her mind...if only for Harry's sake.
