Okay.
Here it goes.
Yet another reason why I dislike the general public... and it all has to do with appearances.
I'm sorry to say it, but I really hate going to the local natural food store. Sure, there is a very extensive collection of natural and organic foods in Wegmans.
I just like to be able to go and stroll around, and make my purchases based on need or irrational want.
There is something nice about going and seeing new products and some of the items there I can't buy at any other retailer.
However, I can't ever say I feel comfortable there. I get dirty looks from fellow shoppers.
Man, woman... it doesn't matter. Employee, customer... it's all the same.
LOOK, I'm sorry my shirt isn't made from hemp, I don't appear emaciated and as if I've forgotten how to take a shower. Don't look down at me because my shoes are bright pink and they make noise when I walk. I'm sorry I have make up on and that I seem to take pride in my appearance.
Why can't there just be a gentle overall camaraderie and respect felt because we share interest in something similar. I'm not trying to be Ms. Organic USA or anything, and I don't think you should look at me differently because of it.
So stop staring, glaring and YES even whispering. I can see you, and I am not going to change.
Now go take a fucking shower, asshole.
i hate people,
shopping,
food
