So: Five years ago, I got married. (Thanksgiving also fell out on the 27th that year, FWIW.)
I'm still happy to be married to my husband. Life with him isn't perfect, but it is rarely boring.
We didn't do anything big to mark the day -- we have some stuff planned, but it wasn't happening today. Well, we did crack open one of the homemade beers N. and S. made for our wedding. (Still tasted good.)
But beyond that, we just sat and talked after the kids were in bed. Which was good.
