Botulism? But it was SO worth it!

This week is my spring break. I am spending most of the week in St. Louis with my roommate, and we are doing everything we've been wanting to do in St. Louis all year. This includes tons of stuff, but for one of the more interesting stories...

On Saturday night, we went to the City Museum. For those who don't know, this awesome building is like a cool, artsy, historical playground made big enough for adults. On Friday and Saturday nights they turn the lights off and give everyone mini flashlights, so you can run and climb around until 1am in the dark. So cool. The point of this story is that we stumbled into this maze-thing and found TONS of making out couples (like, one in every dead end). SO funny. Lots of awkward conversations. I really want to go back, now, and run around shouting "Leave room for Jesus!" Heh heh.

Among other good things in my life is applesauce. I got at least four big jars from my Dad, who sent them in a Valentine's day package. These were jars of applesauce made from an over-abundance of apples we had at home (we have two apple trees now, and it was a good fall for apples). Three of four jars have mold growing on top, and my mother keeps muttering about botulism, but I've been dutifully scraping off mold and boiling the rest to get a fine bowl of applesauce every morning. What a sweet reminder of growth and family and giving. Delicious. I haven't gotten food poisoning yet. Keep you updated.
