And if you happened to be wondering how to pronounce my username, it goes something like "ick-these" and is the basis for words like ichthyo (fish), ichthyology (the study of fish), and ichthyosaur (marine reptiles that thrived during the Mesozoic era). The word Ichthyes by itself refers to the mythological pair of fish that ferried Aphrodite and Eros to safety when the gods fled from the monster Typhon (Greek Mythology). The fish Ichthyes make up the constellation Pisces.
I am a bit obsessed with fish, as you probably guessed. I also happen to be a Pisces. ;)
