[ She wasn't kidding. She was only on deck- a short set of stairs away. ]

[He waits, running a hand through his hair and kind of glad he didn't show up in costume. All of this is pretty damn weird, and now he's just worried...]

[ She opens the stairwell door and sees him immediately. Of course she can't help a smile. But she comes closer slowly, like she's afraid to get too close. ]

[Which he notices. But...that's weird, so he frowns and takes a step toward her.] Hey. What's going on?
