day 13: home once more...
the trip officially ended around 1 today when we rolled back into blacksburg, the majority of us still half-asleep i think (i know i was). we said our goodbyes and parted ways - some recent graduates going to start new careers, some heading home to work between semesters, some returning to rest and enjoy the break from classes. i know i, for one, am feeling some wanderlust again, even after we drove so far. summer is my time to enjoy the outdoors while i still can, and it's tough to make the most of that with a job and such - which i suppose i will have to get around to looking for tomorrow. but i'll be hanging out with some new people, this summer and hopefully in the fall when others return. there's still myrtle beach, there's moving into the apartment directly after that, and maybe another trip if i can swing it.
it's weird to be in a quiet empty house right now after spending two weeks in close quarters with a fairly big group of people. i think i miss it.
best of luck to everyone who's heading home for good though; for those of you that aren't, i'll see you soon enough, and for those of you who are here that i haven't seen in a while - give me a call, let's do stuff while the chance is there!
