Good news!
I got a letter from the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, saying that I have to go to a hearing on January 11th 2006 due to non-payment of rent! Funny thing is, I have been paying my rent every month for my whole tenure. It's my roommate (who is also a leaseholder) who has been neglecting payment. So today, I got a tenant ledger form, showing me our payments and wow, does she ever owe a lot of money! She owes a total of 1708$, 1179$ of which is for rent and the 150$ application fee for eviction, and the 529$ she still owes me!
Now here comes the fun part! If she does not pay at least 1179$ by January 11th 2006, she will be evicted, and I get to find me a new roommate! They have actual proof of payment on my behalf, so they have no grounds to evict me, but her negligence will cost her dearly MWAHAHAHA!!! lol the head office of our building complex felt so sorry for me, they were telling me a bunch of good people who could help me in my situation, and therefore I will be victorious!
Taryn has told me she's been paying her rent, and now I just caught her in her lies! Oooooo I can't wait to tell her all this!
