Author's note: I know people do not read these notes, but I just want to tell people who might be reading this that this uh... drabble (?) is open for criticism. This was created when I was sleep deprived... haven't slept for 2 days(had a short nap in between though but it wasn't really that much of a help). And no I'm not making it an excuse if ever you find this fanfic crappy, I just want to see feedbacks on how well I fared considering that I can't think straight. Sorry if it lacks coherency... this is what I could muster in a short amount of time. I typed this fanfic with the presumption that Lelouch is the light trying to be dark and Suzaku was his counterpart. And again, sorry for the lengthy AN. :D Lelouch is playing the piano here. Too many underlying meanings, hope people can follow my train of thought.

His green eyes watched the graceful form keenly, staring unblinkingly at the enchanting sight before him. Every sweep of the performer’s hand on ivory, every sweat that trickled down the aristocratic features and every passionate expression that crossed was taken in by Suzaku, drunk at the mere atmosphere.
It wasn’t on what he was hearing that caught his attention, he had no ear for any music. But an angry aura, crying out loud filled with raw and passionate anger permeated the room as soon as he entered it. Its impact had blown a gust of wind towards him, as if to push him away and prevent him from entering.
Resisting, he took a step forward and gazed in awe at the rare sight presented upon him. Within the room, his childhood friend carried a strong emotion in his face for the entire world to see. His amethyst eyes bright with passion, feral, unguarded and brimming with the same light that manifested when he shouted that he will destroy Britannia after experiencing the loss of Japan a few years back.
The melody was harsh to begin with, but as the piece progressed to its crescendo, the more Lelouch’s expression contorted into madness. A strong urge to look away overwhelmed Suzaku, it’s as if he’s coming to a revelation that he repeatedly wanted to deny. But it was there as the performer reached the climax of the song. But slowly, Lelouch's twisted expression started to soften, as if slowly exorcising an evil spirit that possessed him. Vigorous strokes turned into gentle caress as Lelouch glided his hand in a slow piece. He threw his head back and earnestly played, sure strokes this time but with the mildness that exuded inner peace.
Suzaku’s breath hitched as he saw the orgasmic expression of his best friend as the piece approached its end. It felt as if he was invading a very private moment, but the underlying depths of the amethyst eyes screamed of yearning. The tempo vocalized what Lelouch cannot. It was calling for Suzaku. The wonderful and awe-inspiring sound that was Lelouch, its essence was as pure as a sound could get was clear and titillating. Despite the harsh tempo that was encompassed the musical score earlier, its quality remained the same even till the very near end.
The piece was determination. It is Lelouch. And he had no doubt that when Lelouch has set his mind on something, he would be getting it. After all, growing up in a place where politics was rampant had already awakened his scheming sense very early and had years to back it up to perfect it.
Suzaku knew that there was no room for illusions. He closed his eyes and basked once more at the radiating light from his most precious person before silently closing the door and returning to the darkness once more.

//This was supposed to be the end... but it was too sad for me. So...
He hadn't heard the ending of the piece. Perhaps it was fear that he wouldn't like how it would end. Or perhaps he does not need to know because he believed. And that was enough for him.
~End.
