K5 Thoughts
I haven't posted in a while, so I figured I'd do a semi-review of K5, since it just started..
I hated K4, so..I had semi high hopes. I was impressed by some songs, but..yeah..
Here ya go!
Alrighty, so...I watched it and wrote down my thoughts. Went back later and added some things, plus a pic for each song. Anything in bold is a song I liked. Basically, the stage went waaaay down after the unit songs. But this was better than K4, so. :D
1. Tenohira -
Weird, a bit too slow for my tastes. reminds me of something, but I can't figure it out. The outfits are also weird...dunno what I think of them XD
2. Saka agari -
I didn't know what to expect from this song, honestly. Not bad. Sayaka was REALLY into this song. The dance is silly. As the song goes on, I like it a bit more..
3. Hitei no REQUIEM -
WOAH mama. Nice costumes. :D Sae and her messed up hair...mmmmmmm. This reminds me of a SeraMyu song with the way they sing different verses at the same time. I really like it.
4. Sono ase wa uso wo tsukanai -
Reminds me a bit too much of 80's idol music. I don't dig it.
MC Intros- ti ti ti ti ti ti nontiiii! XD Why is Noro sniffing her hand? lol. Nattsumii looks good with straight hair. Yuka <3.
5. END ROLL (Matsubara, Umeda, Oshima, Noro) -
LOLwut. I dont even know what to say. Boyz2Men meets Rickroll meets AKB? I dunno...... XD The song isn't too bad, not really my thing, but I like it.
6. Wagamama na nagareboshi (Kobayashi, Ono) -
Super Sentai song time! Something about the backing track to this bugs me, but it doesn't ruin the song.
7. Ai no iro (Miyazawa, Masuda, Ohori, Ishida, Oku , Chikano) -
What the hell. Putting Sae and Masuda in a huge unit like this? The song isn't bad, but...ugh, this unit is way too big. Of course, Masuda gets shafted yet again. AKB, I really am losing faith. But, lol, Sae was totally breaking her costume.
8. Dakishimeraretara (Kuramochi, Kasai, Sato) -
Lol...woah now, rolling all over the floor. I can get Natsuki and Mocchi for this song...but...Kasai's voice just doesn't flow for me in this. I had no idea Mocchi could sing so well. @_@
9. Mushi no BALLAD (Akimoto) -
Oh hay, they let a tranny into AKB. Wait wut, it's Sayaka? Please get rid of that hat. Pretty please.
....... YES!! thank you for taking the hat off! That's much better. xD
But uh...80's rock song. It's okay, but I would have rather had Yuka singing this.
10. Furishite maneshite -
OUTFITS WHAT. They totally look like they were made of this.
This song didn't impress me much.
11. Umi wo watare! -
This sounds like it's trying too hard to be a cool idol song. And lol, Team K flags.
12. Machikado no PARTY -
Too weird and offbeat...I dunno. Something about it doesn't click.
13. FAN LETTER -
Boring. The way the outfits are put together reminds me a bit of Two Years Later/Inochi/Kiss outfits from B3. Not much, but..yeah. Kinda messy lookin.
1. Fugiri -
All I could think of was anime. It sounds like a generic anime song.
2. Hanpa na ikemen -
I don't really like it. Kinda grating on my ears. The dance is interesting. Wtf is that they have at the end?

Ah, so that's what those are....they are ugly as hell, no need for them. Typical feel good song, ala Shiroi Shirts, sorta. I would rather listen to Shiroi Shirts. XD
