I think the dream was inspired by the new Dr. Who cybermen. When I first watched an episode with them, I had dreams of being converted, and the sensation felt as if someone was pulling a string through my inner organs slowly.
This was different because of the giant brain...the cells were so well blended, that no one had enough of their brain cells together to retain any individual personality. So it wasn't like a hive mind...anymore than your brain or mine is a hive mind...it was a new kind of life. Imagen if aliens come and they are like that...whole cities worth of creativity, experience and pure processing power in one organism. Just way beyond anything we can think of dealing with.
But it wasn't a computer, it had, or developed, a personality of it's own. That's how everyone was reconstructed the first time...the brain arranged for it, planned to to take it's self apart to bring the humans back. But for whatever reason, my two friends and others like them wanted the giant brain thing to exist...they either felt it and what it could do was so important, it was worth killing all those people, including themselves and their friends and loved ones, or the albinos were controlling them. I don't know.
It might have been interesting if not for the constant trauma and dread.

You should stretch it out into a whole sci fi story. It sounds like the kind of thing that someone would want to publish, or make a sci fi channel movie out of.

Thanks. :) I tried to tell this dream to Scott, mostly because it was scary, and he acted very bored like he was being punished by being forced to listen.
But he's been irritable the past few days, I think he is not feeling well; so that could be why. Anyway, it's good to hear someone say it is interesting. :)
