(no subject)

it's still not over.

but i'm glad wednesday was.

i'm just glad that my parents were there to watch the play i wrote and directed. they weren't able to see my finals for the directing so bumawi sila ngayon. and buti na lang they liked it. my parents are not usually those type of people who always compliment their child. mas marami pa silang nasasabing criticisms. but wednesday was different. they liked it. sana lang hindi istir yun.

salamat sa mga pumunta, nanood, at naka-appreciate sa mga shows namin nung day na yun pati na rin nung tuesday. every play was hardwork and being part of it, i can't really say any negative comments about it. every one in the class was cramming for this finals and we all had to go through this like a glass half-empty, half-full. we were not used to this kind of rush and everyone worked their asses off to make the presentations great. i know there were flaws in every production, but no one wanted that. it was just hard to accept that we were doing this for a subject that we loved but was taught by a person we didn't actually like. but like he said, "this is the real world."

we had to really do great in this. not only for the grade but for the audience 'cause they are the reason why we stage what we wrote. it was drama for god's sake. it wouldn't be drama if it is not brought to life in a stage. one not only works in writing but in in the full production. every play was singlehandedly built by the writers themselves, with a few help from the peers who were also working on their own plays. every bit was hard work. many times were spent (not wasted) for the productions. days and days. and of course there was a deadline. all the hardwork for only a maximum 30 minutes of the audience's time. it wasn't easy since not everyone in these productions know everything in this line of work, and anyone who knows anything in this line of work should know how hard it is.

with all these hard work, i hope we didn't waste anyone's time. if we did, we're sorry. we hope to serve you better next time.
