So this is how I spent last Friday and part of Saturday
Wedding cake and The Groom's cake.
Then I went to a BBQ and had a piece of a birthday cake that I was not involved in making :)
The diet, by the by, did not work out at all...I am not very disciplined and while I can easily refrain from eating foods I shouldn't, I find it much more challenging to make myself eat what I find unappetizing...with the result being me not eating anything at all...no good. heh
But I have another plan! And I'm not going to bore you with it at this time. (I'll save that for later)
Going back a couple weeks, Faire was fabulous. The weather was grand for it, I had the pleasure of introducing someone to it who had never been, and I found a lovely pair or striped socks. Plus, of course, I was happy to see quite a few of you whom I rarely see.
As always it has renewed my inspiration to create more art, practice my instruments, sew, and get outside more. And as always that renewed inpiration fades quickly after being pulled back into the dull routine of the everyday. Note to self: must find non soul-sucking employment... just not today :)
In other random news: My neighbor's tree was ripped out of the ground when a sudden high gust of wind came through here and you can see the pictures here along with some other random pix.
