Summary:
It all started... with the thing in the elevator. Forgetting she had a boyfriend back in Korea, she started to become interested with this one guy... Who in return is not interested in girls.
He doesn't know it was Sakura and she just kept it at that. Too late, as it finally dawned on her that she's falling head over heels in love.

Sakura could feel her brain hammering through her skull. She whimpered and bit her lower lip in desperation. She messes up her hair trying to remember in vain where it went to.
She looked around the whole apartment. It was a mess. It was more than a mess. It's like somebody had magically put in some storm and hurricane inside this apartment with a pinch of a warzone background and a crime scene from the latest CSI episode. Yeap. That kind of mess.
Sakura groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose. Where the hell is Daiki's iPod!?
She tried again for the nth time to retrace back her steps to find out the location of the iPod but she could only remember listening to it when she was in the roof, before Daiki came. She even checked the rooftop like a gazillion times, tops.
She hugged her pillow and lay in her bed. How is she going to break the news to Daiki and Yuto?
But it has been hours since she started searching for it. It's best that she tell them now, she reasoned.
With a sigh she picked herself up from bed and went to tidy herself up... and also the apartment. (If she doesn't, the apartment will have another mess, from the murder of her by her mother.)

"What??" Sakura winched from the disappointment that's clear as a crystal in Daiki's voice. Funny thing is Yuto's voice was even louder. They were at Daiki's room with Yuto. (she insisted that Yuto should know the truth too because he lent it to her and also because he bought it for Daiki's birthday)
"I'm so very sorry, I promise I'll make it up to you guys someday." Sakura apologised profusely.
"Well, it's okay. You didn't mean to lose it, right?"
"What? It was hard, thinking up Dai-chan's birthday present you know! I even bought it from Korea!"
"Shut up, Yuto! Seriously, Sakura-chan, it's okay... It's mine anyways."
"You have to do something to make me shut up. You have to do something for us, Sakura-chan." Yuto was
grinning at her direction. Daiki was better off throwing daggers at Yuto's direction. Yuto'd be dead in a flash if looks could kill. Yuto notices it, though he didn't flinched.
"Hey, hey, it's nothing harsh. I'm not that evil. She just have to make us lunch for a couple of weeks. And she have to hang out with us every day - except when we have schedules. Think about it~~~~~ it's only two of us here for 2 weeks, Dai-chan. Others have schedules. The more the merrier, right?" Yuto was grinning again, but now with Daiki alongside with him.
'Hey, that's not a bad idea after all..."
***
Daiki stepped inside the dorm room. He had just escorted Sakura home. Just one step. Just one step, and all eyes were already at him. All the guys were inside, great. Daiki braced himself for some teasing but it never came. What's going on?
That was when he saw Yuto in the middle of them.
Infront of him, shining with all its elegance-ness... was Daiki's supposedly 'lost' iPod. Yuto wore his usual mischievous smile. "I was wondering why it's in your jacket when I picked it up last night~"
***
Daiki's phone was ringing. His breath was cut short. Is it Sakura?
"Moshi moshi? Oh, it's you Ayako."
"Were you busy?"
"Naah, something happened with my neighbour but it's fine now."
"Oh, okay... so... don't you have any schedules today?"
"Ah, no. We don't have one today. I'm mostly free. except for some days... so what's up?"
"Nothing much..."
"Oh... I gotta go. There's someone at my door... I'll just call you back sometime, okay?" Daiki cursed the
awkwardness. Why is he running out of words to say? When they were in the elevator, they could stay forever by just talking about stuff to each other. What happened?
But he wasn't lying. It really was someone at the door. It was Ryosuke and Shida Mirai (Not Mirai, Sakura's best friend), Ryosuke's best friend trying to coax him to eat out with them. (okay, just Shida. Ryosuke didn't seem too enthusiastic with Daiki coming in tow.)
Being the great friend he was (ahem) he politely rejected the offer seeing that the best of friends (a.k.a Ryosuke and Shida) needed to catch up on each other's lives. (They haven't met for a few weeks now.)
Sigh. He wonder how it's going to be with Ayako.

It was 10 am when Daiki finally wake up the next morning. When he went out, he saw Yuto on the couch on his phone. (probably texting to Raiya and the family)
"Morning Yuto. Where's everyone?"
"They're moving the stuff from upstairs to the room across. It's moving day, remember?"
"Oh, so why aren't you helping?"
"Why aren't YOU helping?" Yuto shot back without taking his eyes off his phone. Daiki just rolle his eyes. You
can't win against Yuto, it seems. "Oh by the way, Sakura's coming by soon, she said she already cooked our
lunch!"
"Don't you think we should tell her about the iPod? I mean, I feel bad about it!"
"You tell her. I want to enjoy first. Aren't you tired of the same food over and over again?"
"Good point."
Daiki was just flipping through channels when he remembered that he had to meet Ayako at one o'clock at the cafe. (they agreed meeting when they were on a phone call before Sakura interrupted with the case of the missing iPod) Daiki then messaged Ayako about the details and then reached in his pocker for his iPod.
When he was checking the notes, he saw a particular one that wasn't his.
"Remember what you said? I too can stay like this forever."
A pain seered through his chest. She really does love her boyfriend, huh? Well, he couldn't compete with that. Daiki'd be insane to think that she would like him back. And there's Ayako. Technically, she's the one he's been looking for, right?
Daiki then went back to the kitchen and saw Sakura with the food. "Good morning." she chirped shyly. Daiki returned the gesture. "I'm not much of a cook, so I hope you like them." Sakura then started to prepare the table.
Daiki wanted to help but he couldn't seem to take his eyes of her. It was nice to see her work in the kitchen.... it looks like it was just natural for her to be in the kitchen. She just gave this motherly aura off, you know?
Daiki snapped out of his reverie when she was finished. "Yuto! food's ready! Stop watching that TV!"
"Awww. 5 more minutes, mum! The show's on it's climax!"
"Why, you!" and they laughed. It was refreshing to experience the light atmosphere between those three.
"Don't worry, Yuto! I'll just eat your share, then!" Daiki shouted, earning a "Hey! eat your own food, chibi!" from the
tall member of the group. Yuto then rushed into the kitchen.
"I just noticed that you prepared a lot." Yuto commented.
"Oh, I thought that I should prepare for the others, or else it wouldn't be fair for the rest!" Daiki's heart skipped a beat. Great. She's great to hang out with AND considerate. Daiki wouldn't be surprised if every member would fall
for her. (Dammit)
"Why aren't you eating, Sakura-chan?" Yuto said with his mouth full. The food was great, Daiki and Yuto couldn't stop eating.
"I already ate lunch..."
"No fair." Daiki interrupted. He then stood up and went over to Sakura with utensils from the drawer. He then
shoves the utensils in her hands (not without the slight blush from those two from the skinship) "Eat."
"Yeah, Sakura-chan. Eat. Or else, Dai-chan would feed you himself!" Yuto agreed. (again, with his mouth full)
"Yeah, I would~" Daiki said, playing along. In the end, Sakura gave in. Even if it was just a mere lunch, they were having so much fun fooling around. There was never an awkward moment for them three.
***
After lunch, as promised, Daiki went out to meet Ayako. Sakura went back to her apartment to meet up with
Mirai who juct came back from college and Yuto stayed behind with Yabu. (who just came back from whatever he was doing)
Yabu and Yuto were just hanging around at the living room when they hear a frantic knock. Yabu then stood up.
"Coming!" It was Mirai. and boy, did she looked frightened.
"Mirai? What happened? are you okay?" Yabu had his arm around her, afraid that she would fall. "Do you want to sit down?" Mirai just shook her head
"No.. You have to help me.. Sakura... She.. She fainted."
Hearing the news he called Yuto over to follow them to the girls' apartment. Yuto just followed suit even though he was clueless. He was no longer clueless when he saw Sakura on the floor.
Even with that, Yuto asked them the question with a sharp edge in his voice. "What the hell is going on?"
"I.. I don't know. When I came, she looked fine but then when I turned around for one second she just fainted on me! What should we do? Should we bring her to the hospital or just call a doctor here?" Yabu tightened his embrace on her.
"Yuto, it's not her fault you know... no need to be harsh on her. It's not the time to be that way. I say, we should just call the doctor here. Yuto, pick her up and put her in her room. Mirai, where's the phone? we should call the doctor." Yuto and Mirai nodded and followed the directions.
Yabu's gaze soften as he stare at Mirai. Poor girl, she's even shaking. Watching your cousin fainted on you is definately not the best experience ever. Yabu then gave her a comforting half hug.
"There, there. Everything's going to be okay now."

Meanwhile...
Daiki was sitting at the cafe, playing around with his iPod. Truth be told, he was pretty anxious to meet Ayako.
He kept watching his watch and tapping his feet.
If he and Ayako felt the connection that was from the elevator, then everything would eventually fall into place...
The thing is... what if it's different?
Then suddenly, the door was opened and in came a tall girl with long, dark brown locks. She was pretty for sure - but Daiki didn't think that was Ayako - Ayako, he remembered had shorter, around mid-length hair.
The girl went to his direction and smiled. "Daiki-kun?" Daiki was a bit shocked, to say it bluntly.
Is this really Ayako?
Well, she is cute... but she wore a lot of make-up. Sakura, however, was simple yet striking. Oh wait a minute.. why is he comparing them two? pfft. Stop it Daiki.
So they both ordered and attempted to make small talks. But in the end, it always ended up with one word answers. This is what Daiki was dreading for. What happened to the chemistry that was there during the elevator incident?
In the end, they agreed to go back to the dorm to meet the others. It was what they originally planned anyway.
On the way, Ayako suddenly grabbed his hand. It turned Daiki off because as he was the guy, he wanted to
make the first move. But it didn't seem that Ayako noticed him so he let her be.
They met the others at the dorm. Even from the outside, you can hear the noise. Oh, boy. Seems like everyone's here. When Daiki introduced them to the boys, they started teasing them both and it made Daiki uncomfortable.
"We're just friends, guys." Daiki said in a defeated voice, Ayako just nodded shyly.
"Friends who holds hands?" That was Ryutaro. Damn, Ayako was still holding his hand.
"Hey, where's Yuto, anyway?" Daiki said, trying to divert the attention to something else. He just noticed his disappearance.
"He's with Sakura, she's sick." that was Yabu.
"Wasn't she fine a few hours ago? and shouldn't you be with Mirai? You know, helping her out?" Daiki admitted, he felt uneasy thinking that Yuto was alone with Sakura.
"Hey, hey. Easy there, boy. You don't need to bite my neck off. Mirai's off to do some more paperwork for her college, that's why Yuto's there to be with Sakura. Well, Ayako. Don't be shy around us okay? We're friendly people. but please excuse us for a bit. I need to talk to Dai-chan about something."
Ayako, who was busy being at awe with everyone just nodded. She looked like a young girl at this point. Like she's stuck in a dollhouse that she could play forever.
Yabu then took Daiki to their room. "I thought you're dating Sakura?"
"What? No! Who told you that? I'm not even dating Ayako!"
"It's hard to explain but don't you go around two timing girls, Dai-chan!"
Daiki sighed."Yabu-kun. You know me, right? I'm not dating Sakura.. if I was I would've told you"
the thing is... he so want to date her.

End Notes:
Mega rush chapter. Definately not my best. I think I'm too used to writing up one-shots and drabbles. I cramped up about 10 chapters into one lol. Yes, I'm that desperate to finish this story up. Nevertheless, comments and critics are definately welcomed. Flaming is okay for this particular chapter 'cuz I know how it sucks. lol. I'm so sorry for the very late updates.
This is for
