A/N: This is a sequel to my "A Call from Afar". Personally I think you can read this even without reading the previous. but just in case I'm wrong, click here to go read.

Summary: A scene showing how's Yuto been doing since she almost brought him with her.

Nakajima Yuto trudged against the ground to the scene. His tall, lanky figure stood out in the middle of the park. The air was crisp and it felt nice - relaxing even. Yuto smiled wryly while looking at his surroundings. There wasn't many people at the park because it was still early. He breathed in and out, distracted by his breaths that come out as mist and vapour. He chuckled, reminded by a memory. It never gets old. He took out his trusty camera and captured life behind his lens; even if its only a tiny part of it - a tiny bit. Warmth spread in his body as he gaze at the beauty of life in that tiny piece of it in the photo he took. She was the reason he was into it; into photography; into the capturing of art called life. Now, photography is one of his favourite hobbies. He's got a lot of hobbies you see. (A/N: Can't resist adding that. lol I want to add a bit of our dorky Yuto into this.)

After some time walking in the park and taking dozens of pictures, he found their favourite bench: faded blue and weather worn, under a sakura tree. Yuto adjusted his scarf a bit, feeling a sudden chill. Winter is definately on its way and fast.
His grip on the bouquet of colourful flowers tightened a little, simultaneous with the grip on his heart. His breath hitched in his throat and he shook his head a few times to try to prevent tears from spilling. This is not the time to get teary, Nakajima.

The whole half an hour, Yuto just sat there reminiscing while looking at the pictures stored in his camera. Even though it had hurt at first, recalling those memories, but the phrase 'Time can heal almost anything' should be given some credit. Though Yuto is not fully healed from the incident, he took it better than before. Now it only felt bittersweet.

Every now and then he'd chuckle to himself and smiles to noone in particular, his eyes glazing as he delved deeper in his memories. His memory card was full of her. Full of her smiles, her twinkling eyes, their wonderful time spent together.

He stood up and went to the trunk of the sakura tree. It didn't took him more than a few seconds to find out what he was looking for. He traced their initials that were carved on the bark of the tree when they first started dating. He then took a photo of that too.

It was almost time for work, he should be going soon or else Reiko will have a fit. He took a handful of flowers from the bouquet and decorated them at the base of the tree. After he finished, he straightened up and smiled at his work.

After a few more shots of his 'masterpiece' he was now prepared to leave to finally go to the next destination: her grave - where she now rests in peace; away from reality and away from the world.

Yuto looked back at the place where they had spent so many times together; the place where they created millions of beautiful memories. His mind was reeling, as if on cue the memories then plays in his mind's eye like an old movie. Yuto puts on a sad smile.

Happy anniversary Ema. It's already been a year since you left. I hope you're still waiting for me there. Please be patient, ne? I promise I'll be with you, when the time has come for me to leave the world and reunite with you. p/s: I love you, forever. - NY

A/N: Sorry it took me long! I should be murdered lol. I fell asleep last night before I can post it. Gomen gomen! It's not much. I just did it to get it out of my system. I personally love doing this type of writing.
