Asleep
I wrote this for AkeYuki on deviantART because I saw her picture (which will be posted at the bottom of the story) and HAD to write with it. It's very short, but cute. ^^
Naruto Uzumaki stretched his arms with a yawn as he walked into his home. After another tiring week of work, he was finally able to come home and get the rest he desperately needed since Tuesday. The blond always loved Friday afternoons.
“I’m home,” he grinned walking into the front room, hoping to find Sasuke walking towards him. He was disappointed when Sasuke was no where to be seen. The two lived together and Sasuke was always home before him, so to not have the older greeting him the moment he walked into the house was a scary thought to the blond. “Sasuke?”
Walking further into the room, Naruto glanced around the room. Only when he got closer to the couch that had it’s back to him is when he saw where Sasuke was. The older was fast asleep on the couch, already changed into casual clothes. Sasuke was using an arm as a pillow as the other was draped over his stomach.
Naruto grinned, suddenly realizing that Sasuke looked comfy. Not wanting to be left out, the blond managed to slip behind Sasuke on the couch and put an arm around him. Sasuke moved slightly and put his own arm over Naruto’s, his limb slipping down until his hand hung over the edge. The blond put his head on Sasuke’s shoulder and smiled.
“Welcome home, dobe,” Sasuke suddenly whispered.
Naruto was surprised to hear Sasuke, but he just smiled some more. “Thanks,” he said kissing Sasuke’s cheek.
