New home media center computer and setup
I have been meaning to upgrade my media center pc to something with full hdmi out with hdmi audio. I found a small form factor acer computer with a very good cooling system (eg: its a zalemen low noise fan) and plenty of case cooling. The thing runs about 35 degrees under full load so it is not bad at all. It is also very quiet, i dont hear it run at all. The unit came with 4gb of ram, 320 GB hard drive, DVD multi drive, hdmi out, 9 usb ports, esata port, fire wire, and even 1 gigabit lan. IT has a low power athlon x2 5000+ so it uses less than 60 watts (the entire computer). Windows vista 64bit though -_-, but it is the only way to currently support all the video cards functions.
Also picked up a wireless keyboard and mouse, looks great on 37 and 22 inch monitor ^^. I named him Kamui ^^ and added sexiness to him in the form of a wall paper.
