AFTER SCHOOL
INTRO POST
Finally! I've been proscrastinating a lot. Sorry for taking so long to post this up. ^^; I wouldn't call it a pimp post cause I too am still earning about these girls. I'll be using some graphics to help you guys get familiar with their names & faces. :D And I'll include YT links at the end of the entry.
After School (AS) started off as 5 members. Debuted on January 2009 with the song "Ah!" which I love a lot. :p They are managed by Pledis Entertainment. The 'original' members were: (from left to right) Jooyeon, Gahee, Jungah, Bekah and Soyoung.
A couple of months later, they released their next single: "Diva". UEE joined the group and Diva was her debut song. :D There were 6 of them at the time. In the pic: (first row, left to right) Soyoung, Jooyeon, Jungah. (second row) UEE, Gahee, and Bekah. Diva period was really.. colorful. I mean their outfits. XD A month after that they released another single "Dream Girl" which was a cover of Morning Musume's song (Love Machine). And in July they did a collaboration with Son Dam Bi to promote a Samsung's phone: Amoled.

Sadly in October 2009, Soyoung left the group, she was sick and decided to leave. I believe they called it a graduation? :( Their Again & Again perf on Star Dance Battle was so much win! It was the very first time I ever saw their perf. As 5 members. Back then all I cared about was SuJu xD, so I didn't really pay attention to them. Not until I saw their Buttons perf in Idol Big Show! I remember I was totally blown away. They were really fierce and I loved it!
And then in November they made a come back. And added 2 new members to the group. Nana & Raina. Left to right: Gahee, Bekah, Raina, Nana, Jooyeon, UEE and Jungah. They released "Because of You" and the song even won Mutizen Awards THREE TIMES! I totally cried along with them, negl. XD

Park Ga Hee (Gahee/Kahi)
December 25, 1980
Leader, vocalist, rapper
Gahee is STUNNING, FLAWLESS, GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, ETC ETC. XD But it's true! She can dance, sing, play the piano & guitar, and she wrote the song When I Fall. She used to help doing choreography for AS. Gahee was the very first member of AS. I believe she also helped deciding which girls who should join AS. She was a member of S-blush. She used to be a trainee in SME, and was one of BoA's backdancers. Not too sure what she did in US (training or backdancing or studying? >_<), but she mentioned that she learned a lot about English pronunciation when she was in the US. Oh, and she used to date Yocchun of DBSK. She even had to close down her cyworld (mini homepage) when her old pics with Yocchun (and with GD too!) came out on the internet.
Kim Jung-Ah (Jungah)
August 2, 1983

Jungah is really pretty, imo. She has this husky voice that Gahee loves. xD And believe it or not, she (and Jooyeon) are the members who eat the most! They do eat, btw. But they never gain weight. (I have the same problem XD) I always assume that in AS, Gahee is the dad while Jungah is the mom. Soyoung (the ex-member) was pretty close with Jungah. Jungah admits that among AS members she has the least English skills and it worries her cause AS often sing English songs. She loves singing and always wanted to become a singer. And she's prone to sickness, mostly flu. >_<
Lee Jooyeon

She (along with Soyoung) were the members who had the most male fans, according to Gahee. xD She loves showing off cute/weird faces, which I like. Prior to joining AS she already took part in drama(s). I guess acting is her forte, because Gahee once said that Jooyeon can dance but she has to be taught the moves, in other word she doesn't do freestyle dance. XD She's one of the popular members in AS.
Kim Yoo-Jin/UEE

I LOVE THIS GIRL. 8D I was indifferent towards her but this article changed my mind. I watched You're Beautiful not long after that and you know how disturbing her character in YB was, but I liked her! XD Sometimes it irks me when ppl keep dissing her o__o look. Not that she's not able to convey other emotions too when she's in front of the cameras. She can be cute and spazzy at times. And she cries easily too. Ppl keep associating her with her ~honey thighs~ but I say she's more than that. I can't find that clip of her fangirling Rain on Strong Heart ep, but her expressions were really genuine. <3 Oh and her We Got Married eps! Those were really cute.

I agree that she's underrated. She can sing, rap and she has awesome personality, too. She should be pimped out more. Gahee is really proud of her. Despite her young age she's really matured. And she sure knows how to dance (which is probably the reason why Gahee adores her XD). She's fluent in English, cause she's half Hawaiian. Before the 2 new members added in, she was the magnae. :) DON'T YOU THINK SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS WITH DARK HAIR? <33

I can't tell much about the new members, unfortunately. ^^;; But Raina really has an awesome voice. She's now one of the main vocalists, the other one is Jungah, of course. She doesn't get too much screen time (when she's not singing her parts), maybe because when they're dancing she almost always ends up being put in the back. XD She can dance, though.

Nana was/is a model. Which is obvious if you look at her figure. *_* Another member who doesn't get too much screen time, yet. But to my surprise she can rap and sing trot songs. And she's really cute. She and Jooyeon has something in common. They both love making weird faces. XD

When she was still in AS she was in charge of the cuteness division. XD She was natural, she loved cute stuff, enjoyed doing cute things (such as dancing to Gee <3), and she really admired the unnies (Gahee and Jungah). Oh and she idolized 2PM's Nickhun! XD Also, there were rumors that she dated/is dating Boom. ^^;
Okay, I'm like half-asleep rn, so I probably missed a lot of stuff. Well, okay.. I know I really DID leave out so many important things. XD Feel free to point out any mistakes or if you'd like to add some stuff in, that'd be great. :D
