I am actually putting together a pictorial guide (because daisy_chan asked), with screenshots from "Stay With Me Tonight." Because much as I love DBSK's current look, Pantheon just ain't that polished and mature. Here's "Stay With Me Tonight" on youtube, if you don't have it, but Dae's basically got the hair in your icon, Jaja's strawberry blond, Minhyun's sporting baby fat in his face, Jeongsook swings between jock and punk, and Chinsung kinda lives in hats, looking perpetually half-asleep. Ah, baby!DBSK, you were so wee and cute.

I totally agree Junsu's Anyband look is hot on wheels, and I won't swear Jaja won't eventually end up with something like it. Imma save Dae (and my eyes), however, from that blinding hue of Bleached 'R' Me.

okay, I'm cool with Dae having the hair in my icon (because HELLO SEX), and also everything else, except i'm here to tell you that Jaja acquired the asymmetric hair last night around 1 am.

he can be strawberry blond all day long, and kinda longish like there, but it's gonna be asymmetric. because i wrote it already.

also, ps, i'm like the only person on earth who really adores Yoochun having the long hair like he does there. yessssssssssss long hair!

I hadn't even thought about what they'd actually look like until daisy_chan asked, and I was mostly going with "Stay With Me Tonight" era because that's when DBSK debuted in Japan. Really, though, the only one that really matters with is picturing Minhyun, because he has not gone through Changmin's last few outrageous growth spurts and hasn't lost the baby fat in his face. I am all for Jaja having the asymmetric haircut. Heck, I'm for Aoki talking him into the dye job to match the haircut, because DUDE, the boy looks hot with the red.

Also, I have loved every one of Yoochun's hairstyles. Including the Captain Jack Sparrow dreads, the uber-short crop, and the rooster look from "Rising Sun." I adored the long hair and hats phase because he just looked so smooth, and that smoothness is so Chinsung.

I need to know japanese proficiencies, other than Jaja, who speaks/understands but it's a secret, right? Who's most proficient after that? I remember that Dae is just getting by on pretty.

I was assuming Minhyun because of the dictionary and taking studying the most seriously, but didn't think they would necessarily all look to him when he's not all grown-up like he is now.

Minhyun's the only one who knows Jaja knows Japanese, yep. I don't know why it's a secret yet. I'll tell you as soon as he tells me. *pokes Jaja*

Dae used to be a member of some kids' group (choir or band, I don't know), and they went to Japan once, and he learned some phrases ("How do you do," "Please take care of me," "Where's the bathroom"), but nobody knows how much he remembers. He's not very talkative anyway (think Jae at his most extremely anti-social). Chinsung figures he's got English and Korean covered, and he can do American Sign Language if all else fails, so while he's more social than Dae, what comes out of his mouth probably sounds worse.

Jeongsook is plugged into Japanese lessons on his iPod whenever he's not required to be paying attention to something else, so while Minhyun has a larger vocabulary, Jeongsook's command of the language is more functional, if that makes sense. Except, y'know, when he's really nervous and sleep-deprived and forgets a basic like "senpai."

Jaja's spoiled. He was raised by his grandmother (because there has to be an orphan, apparently, and I don't think I'm going to let DBSK consult on outside projects anymore if this is what they come up with).
