I'm in trouble, I'm liking DDO...

It's been a while since I touched DDO (Dungeons & Dragons Online) due to being busy with other things, but Etsy sales are quiet for the moment, and I don't want to sew since my back muscles are balking...so what better way to kill time before work than to return to questing?

I didn't know it, but I was nearing the end of the tutorial portion of the game. I was too busy running around the island killing cultists and rats (Giant rats!) and finding dungeons to explore. I continue to like having an unseen DM add to the atmosphere of the game:

As if the place wasn't dank enough, thanks for the description!

I'm getting the hang of these little shrines, too. If I were in a party (so alone!), if a party member died, I could resurrect them at a shrine within the dungeon. There's also a stone for resting, which we see Relina doing at the moment, as a way to replenish some lost hit points. They have a fifteen minute cooldown though, which I hadn't appreciated before now.

Gah. And there it slept. A DRAGON. A White Dragon, to be specific!

Fortunately for me, it was not my fate to distract the White Dragon, but some cool NPCs I met at the start of the game. I had something much more important to do, but I'll leave it at that in case anyone else dares enter the dragon's lair...

(And also, because I need to leave for work! I think I'll be playing some more of this soon, even if by my lonesome.)
