Hello there
First time poster here. I've been a big fan of this pairing ever since pre-Soul Society days. I just haven't really been all that active in the fandom, maybe because I like staying as far away from shipping wars as possible XD But, really, both characters are awesome individually and I've noticed that some of my favorite moments in the entire manga series involve some kind of interaction between them. Even if they don't get a romantic happy ending, theirs is still going to be one of my favorite hero/heroine relationships of all time.
I wanted to try posting something I wrote a while back. There's a lot of really good stuff posted here, btw. I started out by reading some of the old contest winners and they were awesome. I feel encouraged and intimidated all at the same time ;P
So here's my (small) contribution, as a new member of the community. I hope it's alright to post it here even though there's no explicit romance. I guess you could call it pre-Ichigo/Rukia XD I did write it thinking of a future, er, affair, between them, I just didn't think a make-out section would fit anywhere (pity).

Summary: Post-Winter War Ichigo suffers from heroic BSOD and is rescued by former mentor in a quincy-made blue dress.
Warnings: Dead Isshin, platonic Ichigo/Rukia and bad language.

Pairing: Ichigo/Rukia, if anything, but no explicitly romantic exchanges
