So yesterday, on the whole, was a pretty good day. Spanish was amusing in that we talked about duct tape, turkey tape, turkey juice, and turkeys in general. We sightread in Choir, and we talked about the Choir trip this coming up Monday. It looks like it'll be Andy, Leah, and I going, which I'm excited about! =D Mrs. Hayes said the funniest thing, too. Talking about all the guys in Choir not being able to keep their hands to themselves. "Y'all! Keep your hands to yourselves! If you don't, I'll have to make up some weird rumor about you..."
Grammar in English, which kind of sucked since I'm not very good with grammar. I tried my hardest on the worksheet, though. Perhaps I'll pass. (Edit: 70) We finished up learning the mole conversions and whatnot, and the problem due date was moved to tomorrow, which is good. Lunch was lunch, and nothing special.
Neither was Web Mastering; we just worked on our test animation. I pretty much finished mine, I just need to do a bet more tweaking. Quizzes in History, and test review in Pre-Cal. Oh man, that class was a riot! My favourite quote from the period:
Student: Mr Will, you have eyes like a seagull!
Mr. Will: What does a seagull see?
Student: The sea?
Mr. Will: I see the sea!
Me: How can you see the sea? It's hundreds of miles away...
Mr Will: :: writes a "C" on the overhead :: I see the C!
I told Andy this story after school, and he just told me that I should have just said, "Oh, Mr. Will! Just shut up and give me some chicken." I guess that leads to Regression Time. Tuesday during Pre-Cal, Mr. Will randomly interjected with, "What's for dinner?" So I asked him what was for dinner. His answer? Fried chicken. So I spent the rest of the period bugging Mr. Will, telling him he was going to take me to chicken. After school, I took Andy into Mr. Will's room because he was going to eat chicken with us. He's my brother now, by the way...
Alright, so back to yesterday. Before my nail appointment, Andy and I went to Wal-Mart with about 50 cents and masses of boredom. We were walking around aimlessly when lo and behold, we came to the wonder that is the doughnut case. We purchased a raspberry-filled powered doughnut and split it. Andy began choking on the powered sugar, then got in the car with me. Due to his near-death, sugar-induced experience, Andy was blessed with an epiphany. The pursuit of Dentistry is now the master of his destiny. This is his following now so that he might someday bring vengeance upon his new foe: azucar. ((Wow, how beautifully poetic))
Then Andy went with me to get my nails done. They're silver and black and glittery, which is fun. They make the emo girl in my happy. =D During the appointment, Andy, Barbara, Cindy, and I planned to see Phantom of the Opera later on in the evening. Also, we planned for the 4 of us to go out to eat at Zookini's beforehand. Fun stuff, in the house.
After my nail appointment, we went up to Old Anson road to see Andy's dad to get him some money for the evening. We got lost a few times. We've already established that while I think otherwise, I rarely ever have the slightest clue as to where I'm going. So we got the kid some money and went back to my house. I colored something for him for Biology while he did some English. Leah called, and we planned for her to come along to the movie.
Then it was off to dinner, but first, we went to the ATM to get money. That didn't take as long as Barbara planned, so we spent the extra 15 minutes at Wal-Mart. Otra vez! We looked at clothes, then off to Zookini's. The food was sublime, and the company, of course, was wonderful as well. We ate quickly, though, so that we could get to The Phantom of the Opera.
Everyone in our party had seen the movie once already, so we spent a good part of the movie doing a lot of, what I like to call movie talking. Andy and I mouthed the words to most of the songs, Barbara cried like a baby, and sadly, Cindy left early. Leah introduced us to Shaft after the movie. Or rather, Shaft introduced us to Leah. He was pretty cool. =D
Took Andy home, then Barbar and I went home. I had planned on going to bed shortly thereafter, and it would have been the end to a perfect day, but alas. That's not how things happened. I got on the computer to see if anyone was on, and Josh was! <3
Love, indeed. He's been distant lately, so I asked him about it. That spiralled into lots of talking. Depressing talk. All I want is to be there for him, help him through whatever he's experiencing. I fear, though, that's not the case. The more I've thought about it today, the more confused I get about it all. I'm not exactly sure where things stand, but I think that we're taking a break; that we're not together anymore, merely friends.
This is the last thing I want! I love him so much...I do understand, though, that he needs time to figure things out. And I need to respect that. There's been a thought in my mind that's been floating around all day. Love is like a butterfly. If you hold it too tightly, it will be crushed. Therefore, in order for love to prosper, you must let the butterfly roam free. if the butterfly loves you in return as you love it, then it will come back to you.
I love you, my butterfly.
I hope you return to me someday...
Today has been nothing but a haze. The only thing that sticks out was something Mrs. Hayes talked about in Choir. The song we sightread today went from a major chord into a relative minor, back into the major, and then the minor again. She described majors and minors as "happy, then sad, then happy again, and back to sad." I think that perhaps my life is in a relative minor right now.
I talked to Sr. Joven until about 4:45 again, which worried Barbara, since I accidentally left my phone at home, so she called Andy and Dusty, who were worried about me. It's probably because I'm so depressed, that I just don't understand it. I'm not worth worrying over. When I got home, Barbara could see I was depressed, so she took me for chicken. Yum. Now it's homework time.
You were once my one companion
You were all that mattered
Then my world was shattered...
