How Liberal Or Conservative Are You?

No? XD; Whoa, I expected it to be 100% Liberal for everything. Go figure XD.
Anyway, moving on.

 <--- I like this poster because I think it's the prettiest one of the three that I've seen. ...the title is the same color as the captions for some of my icons, no? Pink! <3 XD;;;;;;

This review will contain spoilers. But...you all know the story anway, so...XD;;

I liked it, but once you get past all of the shoes and colors and dresses and cakes and etc, there's really not much left. I mean, Sofia Coppola is relatively new to movie-making and it shows, IMO. There were random ly pointless scenes, like for example when Marie Antoinette excuses herself from the dinner table (I think that was it...), and just runs to her room and they waste about three minutes of her throwing herself on her bed and just laying there with the strangely period-inappropriate music in the background (but the modern-ness was part of the whole idea, so I'll let it slide).
It was funny, and not in a cheap way, so that was good.
But the ending was quite awful. Basically, you see her, her children, and the King leaving in a carriage, and she's looking at the window as the sun is setting. He asks her something and she replies, "I'm saying goodbye." And then, the scree fades and the credits come up.
Now, IMO, there is nothing worse than a movie ending that makes you go, "...that's it? WTF?!", and this was just that kind of ending. Not to mention that it makes it look as though they escaped, when we all know they didn't because they decided they needed to bring the whole house with them.
Otherwise, I think the acting was good and it's very visually pleasing. I'd give it a B+ and recommend it if you like chick flicks XD.
