(no subject)
Well, it's the end of the week. This one wasn't too bad. I got to sleep in one day, I took a bunch of girls out to dinner at Outback which was a lot of fun, I was up till 2 talking to the Philosophy Chick and it resulted in us hanging out tomorrow, and I have shitloads of stuff to do for my RA job. oh, and one of the RAs got fired last weekend which really sucks. I didn't know her that well, but she seemed cool and I wish I could've known her better. She was fired for an unfair reason and it was due to a bit of sabotage on one of our fellow RAs part. She says she knows who it was, but I told her not to tell me because I like everyone on staff and I don't want to have a reason to hate one of them. The dinner with the female bible study was great! We surprised them and took them to Outback. We did all the gentlemanly stuff: hold the doors, drive, stand up when they leave the table, pay (that's right, there were only 5 of us so it was 40 bucks each) , and we even convinced the waitress to let us serve the food to the ladies. It was a lot of fun and they were really appreciative. They even invited us to a night at one of their places during finals week and they are going to cook for us! I love this stuff! It's all the fun of treating a girl right without the hassle of maintaining a relationship. I know that's kind of twisted, usually a guy would say that sex without the relationship is the best. I totally disagree!!! Seeing the look on their faces when we surprised them and held the doors and served them their dinner was amazing! Most of them said that they have never been formally taken out like this, so we set the bar for their future boyfriends. Hell yeah!!!
On a similar note, I am finally gonna chill with Autumn (that's the Philosophy Chick; cool name, right!). One of the guys in our philosophy class works at some sandwich place at a mall nearby, so we're gonna go visit him and then come back here to watch a movie and just chill. Granted, my roommate's coming with us to the mall and the guy who's giving us food will probably be coming here also, I am finally hanging out with her. I also surprised her at the laundry mat yesterday. She does her laundry every Wednesday and asks people to come visit her but no one ever does. I usually can't cause my flute lesson is at that time, but it was cancelled yesterday so I stopped by. We talked for about an hour and it was really cool. I learned a little bit more about her (still don't know her last name though) and it was just a good time. I can definitely see us being friends and if that's all it gets to, that is cool with me. This girl is just really nice and I like talking to and seems like a lot of fun. Well, I guess I'll have a lot to write about Friday, if I remember any of it! hehehe
