( Who & Where & When - Gilbert & Ivan, in their dormroom; past log )
(Ivan: If you still feel like doing this, here you go~ So sorry it took this long. The holidays sort of drained my creative energy DX )
The page with all of its confusing equations blurred over, numbers swimming in front of tired, red-rimmed eyes. Gilbert sighed and jerked his headphones off, dropping them on the desk. Music wasn't helping anything but his headache. Sleep deprivation did this. Running on three hours or less was easy. But absolutely no sleep for almost two days now? He couldn't think, couldn't concentrate, and kept nodding off in class. Nights were impossible to sleep through now. Even when Ivan drifted off, Gilbert stayed awake, too shaken to calm down. By the time he got close to settling in, his alarm would go off and it would be time for class again.
Gilbert rubbed his face with both hands, groaning. Algebra required concentration and brainpower he just didn't have right now. A nap might help.. Ivan had class for a little while longer. If Gilbert set his alarm, he could nap and be up before the Russian came back. That meant he'd be wide awake all night once again, but...but he was just too exhausted to study.
Yeah, a nap sounded like a great idea. He stood up and closed the Algebra book. Just an hour, long enough to get a little burst of energy going. So..if it was 1 PM..set the alarm for 2, so he'd be back at his desk by 2:05, long before his roommate showed up again. Nodding to himself, Gilbert did just that and crawled onto his bed, still completely dressed. His head hit the pillow and within minutes exhaustion took over, lulling him into a dreamless sleep.
Unfortunately, it was such a deep sleep that Gilbert never really came out of it when his alarm went off. He reached over and swatted at his cellphone until the shrill noise cut off, but just curled up deeper in his blankets after that, continuing his nap well into the afternoon.
