Social

I am quite disappointed with social networks, there isn't a good feeling. Logging into Facebook is suffering. It's like going to the zoo, only to witness people you know now and before walled up in some form of a cage. Maybe it's not the people, but locality, eliminating the vastness of this information network. Twitter is mundane, and rarely interesting, but perhaps I'm not in-tune with the people I'd like to be. Noise. Plus+ is overflow, again it's the circles I've created. So what makes me feel good?

Blogs, radio, podcasts? Ideas, opinions, and information flows outwards across the network. Every relationship is opt-in, and every interaction is contextual. Discussion, retort, and response are all similarly structured like the origin. Delivery is manageable and diverse, and any need to socialize outside the points or topics rests in email or chat, or maybe a phone call.

These are basic things. We can jazz it up however we like, but I don't think the majority is dreaming anymore.
